Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, or Tim Pawlenty

In the order above are my top picks for VP.
Mitt has two very important reasons..... 1. MONEY/Economy 2. MICHIGAN
Sarah Palin..... 1. Is a outstanding women who would no doubt bring in Soccer moms(Virginia/Indiana) 2. I believe she may help in western states, given Alaska is not right next to all of the Western states it does face similar issues.
Tim Pawlenty... He could help bring Minnesota back into play, or maybe help in Michigan or Wisconsin. He is very likable and this could help him for the future.

How, pray tell, can Romney be placed ahead of Palin. Romney's negatives are equal to or greater than his positives, in terms of electing McCain. Palin's positives (which I'm gonna assume you're aware of) are completely off the chart, with no real negatives whatsover!

Sarah Palin on her own merits is the best candidate. But McCain needs cash and Michigan more than anything in this election. I believe Romney gives him the best chance at those two.

do you see where I am coming from? I 100% agree she is great and in fact better than Romney, but the stakes are so high he must pick the VP who gives him the best chance to win!

Cash, are you kidding???

Are you aware of the millions and millions and millions of dollars worth of media coverage which will be devoted to the Palin story!!! (at NO charge to Team McCain)

... in addition to new and increased excitement and money contributions from new groups around the country.

and think how the MSM and the Dems will paint the cynical pick of Romney by McCain, only for money.

I wish I believed that Palin would get the type of coverage you think she would recieve, however the media is in the tank for Obama and will down play her impact I believe.
Let me make this clear as well.... I believe her and Romney are the only two that really increase mccain's chances of winning.

and finally, picking Romney will in all likelihood LOSE the elction for McCain; with Palin, victory essentially is assured!

Of course the media is in the tank for Obama, however, with Palin, THE MEDIA WON'T BE ABLE TO AVOID HER. In fact, Palin is certainly the #1 fear of both the media and their allies, the Democrats!

1. Romney does not enhance McCain's chance of winning.

2. Of course the media is afraid of Palin (as are the Dems) but they'll have no choice, as there will be so much clamor for Palin and, of course, the media is profit driven!

I was trying my hardest to hold my nose and vote for McCain, If he picks a Romney for VP, I will definatly be Voting Bob Barr as a Protest Vote. I dont care if Barr can win or not. I think Barr is the most Conservative candidate of all the candidates. Dont take my word for it. Go to one of the Barr sites. He has conservatice credentials. http://www.BarrRoot08.com

What really bothers me is serveral Polls have been done and all of the polling suggests McCain would do better with Huckabee then any other Vp Candidate. Yet it seems hes not even being vetted? Another Black eye for us Conservatives. Huckabee is the only way I and many of the (Conservative) X-Republicans that I know would vote for McCain. We didnt like him when he got the nomination. We dont like him now. The RNC deserves to lose this year. They pushed McCain down our throats and wouldnt let the primary play out. They get what they deserve. Mike Huckabee is the over whelming pick for VP among most Republicans and 89% of conservatives. According to a poll at. http://www.VeepPeek.com
Huckabee actually had a sound energy plan, unlike either of these candidates we have now. Even T. Boon Pickins has a better energy plan then these guys that are running for president. If you havnt seen it you should go check it out. at http://www.Tboonepickans.com

I know I am bitter but I have every right to be. We have alot of people out there who dont have a voice this election year. It seems like instead of trying to give us a voice, they are further distancing themselves from the base of the Republican party. Well I am no longer a republican. Nor is many of the Republicans that I knew.
I would even Rather Have Ron Paul then John McCain. Ron Paul might actually give this country some much needed Medicine. Our country is ill, and no one has answers. The people in leadership are part of the mechinism making our country sick. Wish Ron Paul was running on the LP ticket. He would probably win this thing. http://www.BarrPaul08.com

I disagree that John McCain is not conservative. He would do much more for the conservative movement than W ever did. The only thing he has ever done wrong in some conservatives minds is reach across party lines.
If we went with any other candidate including Romney or Huckabee this election would be over already. Fact of the matter is if you are truly a conservative you would find everyone you know take them to the polls and vote McCAin.
We know for a fact Dems will control the house and senate. If Obama wins are nation will be lead by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama. Protest if you want, but I think it makes it obvious that you were a Republican and not a conservative. The Republicans lost and now you want to run away from them.
McCain is small government and conservative on social issues... what do you want from him?

Those Huckabee supporters (like above) who think he is so great on energy, conservative values, etc., haven't taken a good hard look at Sarah Palin yet.

She is THE TRUE ENERGY expert and exponent, bar none, who, btw, is not beholden to Big Oil...AND she is a conservative's dream...highly pro-life and pro-gun ownership and she walks the walk,
giving birth to her child, Trig, who they knew had Down's Syndrome and is a lifetime NRA member...plus, she's a regular church-goer but doesn't wear her religion on her sleeve like some are prone to do.

Huckabee supporters would be HIGHLY impressed once you got to know her more...as would most voters in general!
